Export Mold
HOW TO DEVELOP THIS MOLD?
Step 1: make DFM report.
When we got the documents from our customer, we will make a summarize list with details and requirements, then forward to our design department to start DFM analysis, it including material selection/ parting line / gate location / finish requirement / draft angle analysis / thickness analysis / ejector layout / slide & lifter layout / mold layout / suggestions, if there are special requirements to make moldflow analysis, we will also do it. After finished the DFM, we will submit to our customer for the approval, if customer have better idea with feedback, we will optimize it and send to customer to final approval again.
Step 2: mold design
After got the DFM approval, we will start the initial mold design according to customer provided documents and machine requirements, we will also make MOLDFLOW analysis is the part structure is too complicated, then send to customer for the conformation, once the customer confirmed the main mold structure, we will arrange a meeting (involved with management dept. /manufacturing dept. /quotation dept./ sales dept./ project dept.) to discuss the potential issue and provide the solutions. If don’t have big issues, we will check with customer to start the material order.
Step 6: mold trial out
This is the most important step to verify the mold manufacturing, after set the right injection parameter, we will check the movements of sliders and lifters, if runs smoothly, the injection will be started and the first parts(T0) will be generated.
Step 3: mold making
Once the mold making start, the weekly working progress report with updated manufacturing status will be sent to customer and keep them informed.
Step 4: mold inspection
It's not enough only to be machined, the mold components will be inspected with our strictly QC system after it to be machined. We will use the CMM machine to inspect the electrodes and mold components, also will check the hardness to make sure it will meet the requirements
Step 5: mold assembling
When most of the mold components are ready and meet the dimensional requirement, the mold master will start to assemble the mold, they are not only to assemble it, but also require them to adjust and fit it very well, they will check the movement and the fitting
Step 7: part inspection
After got the first parts, we will check the structures and dimensions immediately, at the same time, the samples and trial video and dimensional report(part dimensions/CPK/CMK) will be sent to customer for the confirmation, and we will optimize the part issues first, if customer have more feedback, we will improve it accordingly.
Step 8: mold shipping
With about 2-3 times trial out and all of the issues were solved, we will get the mold approval and shipping information from customer. We will recheck the mold to make sure no information missing , then clean and pack the mold. Once everything prepared, the mold will be shipped to customer.
Step 9:after-sales services
Shipping is not the end step of the project process, good after-sales services is necessary, if customer have any questions or need the technical support, we are always ready here.
